TCN targets 20,000MW by 2021

Power distribution: FG not ready to accept excuses from DisCos –Minister

Power shortage worsens in S. Africa

By Giwa SHILE South Africa’s power shortage worsened on Friday as large parts of the country were gripped by load shedding, said electricity utility, Eskom. Stage 2 rotational load shedding was implemented from 09:00 a.m. and was likely to continue until 22:00 p.m. as a result of loss of additional power generation units overnight, Eskom said. The Director, Corporate Service of the AEDC, Mr Moses Arigu, revealed this on Thursday while inaugurating the commission’s Customer Complaints Forum Office in Lafia.
